We had the best Bible School and clinic today since we have been in Peru, 56 kids in BS and 104 in the clinic! The kids were so polite and sweet that we just loved them and the facility was school so everyone had lots of room and you could hear yourself think. Everyone was full of smiles and were very welcoming so it really was fun. The people who came to the clinic were a different mix of people than we have had before because there were many Indian people who don´t speak Spanish but rather Quechuan. There was this one lady who came in and it took 2 translators to treat her. The doctor would speak to the Spanish interpreter who would speak to the pastor who spoke Quechuan to the lady and then it would go back again. whew! She had one of those hats on that you see in pictures of Peru! We drove on to Paracas after we were done and we will spend the night here. In the morning some of the group are going to take a boat trip but I think I will stay behind. I doesn´t sound that interesting to me, 2 hours on an open boat and no dive site. :(
